Fleur de Lis on Main Urban Art Event

In tandem with the December 1, 2006 First Friday Gallery Hop, Fleur de Lis on Main sponsored "The Fleur de Lis on Main Urban Art Event" to celebrate the energy of Downtown Louisville's newest urban neighborhood and to mark the Grand Opening of the Fleur de Lis on Main Showroom.  Local graffiti artists, Sean Griffin, Mr. Mines, Eddie Santiago and Jeral Tidwell, were invited to create their own interpretations of "Fleur de Lis" and Louisville in an outdoor art venue.  For this event, the fence along the Fleur de Lis on Main construction site on Main Street was covered with plywood boards and spotlights were set up - creating nearly a block of art space and activity.
